Anheuser-Busch offers soldiers free admission to SeaWorld through 2007 - Phoenix Business Journal
Anheuser-Busch executives have decided to extend its free admission program to U.S. theme parks to American soldiers fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan through 2007, the company said Wednesday. St. Louis-based Anheuser-Busch (NYSE: BUD) first created its "Here's to the Heroes" program in February 2005. Through it, the company's Busch Entertainment Corp. subsidiary offers a single day's free admission to any one of SeaWorld or Busch Gardens park, Sesame Place, Adventure Island or Water Country USA theme park.

Teen Injured While On Roller Coaster
According to a James City County Fire official a teen was injured at Busch Gardens today and Nightingale was called in to airlift him out of the Scotland Parking area. It happened around 5:20pm Friday night. James City County Fire officials say the 17-year-old fractured his femur in two places. They say he was lucky the fractures didn't cause more damage to his leg. They believe the teen will be okay after treatment. According to Busch Gardens officials the teen had a pre-existing medical condition involving the bones in his legs. He received multiple fractures while riding the roller coaster Alpengeist.

Gripping the wheel of his small yellow roadster, 11-year-old Jacob Dean grinned as he smashed the car into another one stopped at the end of the track. "This is one of my favorite rides," he said later. "I always bump people there." Dean was one of many Busch Gardens visitors disappointed that Wednesday was the last day for the amusement park's "Le Mans Raceway" ride. The boy from Virginia Beach said he hopes Le Mans' replacement will be a similar car ride for children, rather than a roller coaster.

Will Busch give Le Scoot the boot? - Virginia Gazette
Next year's new attraction at Busch Gardens is becoming clearer even though the company remains highly secretive. On Wednesday the Planning Commission will consider a special use permit related to the new thing. The request points to another roller coaster. It appears that Busch may scrap the Le Scoot log flume to make room.
