Carmen Ricci spoke of a changing boardwalk, one where the umpteen games of chance and pizza shops are replaced by expensive oceanfront housing that features minimum sales prices of three-quarters of a million dollars. The first domino would be the razing of Funtown Pier and its rebirth as a luxury condominium development with unique over-the-ocean views and a sprawling underground parking complex.
