Big Bird has greeted guests to the Bucks County amusement park ever since the place opened 27 years ago.

It was the most popular photo location for millions of families and visitors.

On Wednesday, Big Bird's head was removed to make room for the "Sunny Day Carousel," which will be up and running when the park re-opens in May.
