Representatives from a California theme park are in Wichita Monday and Tuesday, possibly wrapping up a deal to buy bankrupt Wild West World.

Parks America Inc. prepared a $12 million dollar offer to buy the theme park. But the price is $1.5 million short of covering the secured debt.

President Dale Van Voorhis told Eyewitness News earlier this month he thinks Wild West World has potential. He would like to reopen it by next year.
