NEW YORK, Aug. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Six Flags, Inc. (SIX - news) announced today the launch of its brand new Six Flags Storytime book series, a fun way for kids to learn more about their favorite animals living at their favorite theme park. The series is launching with eight original titles based on the amazing animals at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom in Vallejo, CA.

The titles are:

Jake Gets Jealous
Makali Finds Her Place
Sagely Learns a Lesson
Shouka Plays Hide and Seek
Valerie Becomes a Star
Fedor Steals the Show!
Let's Go Meet All the Animals!

The Six Flags Storytime Series books are geared toward young children of all ages. The books, with fun, educational text and wonderful full-color photographs of the animals themselves, were authored by Carol Silver, Six Flags Corporate Director of Entertainment, working closely with the animal staff and trainers at the park, and are available at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom and online at Six Flags' award-winning website www.sixflags.com.

Part Two of the Six Flags Storytime Series will be released in 2008 and will be based on the animals from the Six Flags Great Adventure Wild Safari in

Jackson, New Jersey. The Storytime Series is intended to teach kids both educational facts about each animal species and inspirational life lessons.
