All “Treats” and No “Tricks” During Halloween in Hershey

HERSHEY, PA — Hershey is the place for fall family fun when Hersheypark is transformed into Hersheypark in the Dark and the Creatures of the Night inhabit ZooAmericaNorth American Wildlife Park.

Activities are scheduled for October 19-21 and 26-28, from 4 to 10 p.m. on Fridays, 2 to 10 p.m. on Saturdays, and 2 to 9 p.m. and on Sundays at Hersheypark in the Dark. More than 50 rides – including 10 roller coasters – are open, decorated and re-named for the season. Ghost Runner (Storm Runner) and SooperBOOperlooper (Sooperdooperlooper) offer thrill-seekers nighttime coaster rides to remember. Young and old alike will delight in a ride on Bats in the Belfry (Kissing Tower) and Raven Haven (Flying Falcon).

Kids 12 and younger will enjoy a visit to “Treatville,” a Halloween village inside Hersheyparkwith candy treats at every door. Treatville is open from 4 to 9 p.m. each night of Hersheypark in the Dark.

The Annual Hersheypark in the Dark Costume Contest, held on Sundays, October 21 and 28, also is designed for kids 12 and younger.

The fun continues in ZooAmericaNorth American Wildlife Park, just a short walk over the bridge inside the Park, where the Creatures of the Night await guests. Please bring your flashlight to see this nocturnal animal adventure. Hours for this event are 6 to 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays and 6 to 9 p.m. on Sundays.
