Charlotte, N.C. (July 13, 2007) – Nickelodeon’s Slime Across America mobile tour will stop at Carowinds on July 21, providing kids the ultimate opportunity to experience the network’s famous slime. The new 18-wheel Slime Mobile, jam packed with interactive experiences, will entertain guests with virtual slimings, games, the Nick Live! Slime Edition stage show, character appearances, product giveaways and more.

The Slime Mobile will be stationed at the Paladium Plaza and will be open for kids to explore from 11:00 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Nick Live! Slime editions show times are 11:30 a.m., 1 p.m., and 3 p.m.

“Slime Across America will allow kids to come out to Carowinds and take part in some great Nickelodeon-themed activities, most notably being slimed,” said John Shanrock, general manager of Carowinds. “We are thrilled to have Nick’s Slime Mobile stop at the Park, and ready to get a little messy this summer during Slime Across America.”

“We are extremely excited to bring our trademark slime to Carowinds,” said Pam Kaufman, Chief Marketing Officer, Nickelodeon/MTVN Kids and Family Group. “This is one of the first theme park stops on the tour, and it will provide a great environment for kids to experience all that Slime Across America has to offer.”

Nickelodeon’s Slime Across America summer mobile tour includes brand new summer-themed messy games and more slime than ever. A user-generated content station will be available for kids to submit their original creations for possible air on Nickelodeon or Nick.com as part of the networks’ upcoming fall premiere iCarly. Newly-added virtual sliming pods will allow for up to five kids to be slimed at once, and to digitally capture the moment as they receive Nickelodeon’s highest honor. Music-themed activities, such as Nickelodeon karaoke, will be part of the experience as well.

Chrysler serves as the exclusive auto sponsor for Nickelodeon’s Slime Across America summer tour, highlighting its 2008 Town & Country minivan.
