Universal Orlando is offering its new "Hydro Action Ski Show" starting this weekend on the Islands of Adventure lagoon -- the first time that a daytime entertainment has been staged there.

The show, which debuts Friday and will run several times each day this summer, features wakeboard and water-sport stunts by specialists choreographing their aquabatics to high-energy music.

Islands of Adventure visitors will have to find their way to the waters' edge to watch. Though there is plenty of viewing area along the lagoon's shore, the routes to the water are not always obvious.
