CBS 21 Original Article »May 17, 2007 Dozens of local kids get a chance to forget about fighting cancer. It happened at Dutch Wonderland in Lancaster County Thursday.
35 families being treated at Hershey Medical Center were invited for a free day at the amusement park. An employee of the park organized the event after fighting cancer herself. About 160 people went to the park. It's the 2nd year for the event which is also organized by the National Livestrong Foundation that Lance Armstrong put together years ago. |
