Universal Orlando revealed its mobile application designed for theme-park guests to use in Universal CityWalk, Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure, home of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. The Universal Orlando app, available as a free download for iPhone and Android users beginning today, uses GPS to guide parkgoers. It features interactive map, details about attractions, Facebook and Twitter check-ins and the ability to make reservations at a Universal Orlando restaurant. It does not include wait times for rides “at this point,” a Universal Orlando spokesperson said Wednesday. It can steer users toward the wait-time boards, she said. The app also includes a check-in game that gives users a chance to win a savings guide worth up to $150.
