Pavilion nostalgia park planned at Broadway at the Beach - WPDE

March 09, 2007

The Myrtle Beach Pavilion is gone now, but some parts of the historic amusement park will live on. Many of the park's rides and attractions will soon have a new home at Broadway at the Beach.

It will be a mini amusement park located on the east end of Broadway at the Beach, between the Cinema 16 Theaters and the Hampton Inn. It'll be called Pavilion nostalgia park, and it's planned to be just the beginning of a full-scale amusement park at Broadway at the Beach.

It's been a year since Burroughs and Chapin announced the Pavilion would be closing.

But now, there's another announcement that many of the rides, attractions, and arcade games that belonged to the historic park will have a new life at another B&C property, Broadway at the Beach.
