Wild Waves Theme Park will install a new water attraction at the park this summer and they are holding an online contest to name the ride. Wild Waves says as guests begin the ride, they are quickly dropped into a steep chute that swirls the rider(s) into multiple high speed revolutions around the outer perimeter, and then gradually decelerates riders towards the patented Corkscrew exit at the bowl's center. The ride ends in a splash pool below. "The new ride offers fun and excitement for the entire family," said Jeff Stock, CEO of Wild Waves. "Our goal is to revive the energy, atmosphere and experience for the Wild Waves guests, and this new ride adds to our dynamic portfolio." The ride is the first new attraction since 2005’s Zooma Falls. Take a sneak peek on the Wild Waves Facebook page.
