Denver’s Elitch Gardens amusement park put out a call Wednesday for 1,500 seasonal employees.

The amusement and water park begins its 2011 season on May 7.

The job openings are in the guest services, park services, ride operations, retail, foods and games departments.

CNL Lifestyle Properties Inc. of Orlando in January brought in a new management company to run the storied amusement park. Herschend Family Entertainment of Norcross, Ga., now runs Elitch Gardens.

Applications for work at the amusement park can be found online at elitchgardens.com.
