Adventureland promises to beef up security after two children were molested at the amusement park last summer by the same man. 59-year old Ronald Steen was sentenced to 12-years in prison for his crimes. Steen molested a 9-year old girl last August, then minutes later molested a 14-year old. He was caught and admitted to the crime. Steen was convicted of molesting another child and placed on the Sex Abuse Registry in 1996, but was taken off after ten years and purchased a season pass to Adventureland last year.

Ed Casey, the father of the 9-year old victim, was shocked to learn that Adventureland does not have any security cameras in place to protect children. A spokeswoman says the park will install security cameras before the season starts in April, and will also start cross referencing their list of season pass holders with the Sex Offender Registry.

"I applaud Adventureland for stepping up and doing the right thing for children." Casey says. But he adds, parents also have to be vigilant in watching their children. He says his daughter was only out of his sight for a few moments, but that was enough time for Steen to molest her.

"It tears you up to think about what happened," Casey says, "And that's my daughter. And I wasn't there for her."
