Disney has announced plans to expand its FantasyLand section of its theme park, as unveiled on Tuesday at an exclusive media event inside the Magic Kingdom that one of TheCelebrityCafe.com’s writers attended.

Walt Disney World will bring plans to build a new indoor rollercoaster to fruition, featuring a first-of-its-kind coaster in which vehicles swing back and forth along a twisting track.

Add music from one of Disney’s legendary classic animated movie’s Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, and you have “The Seven Dwarfs Mine Train.”

This rollercoaster is just one of several new installments that will be added to the new and improved FantasyLand. The new project hones in on specific magical elements of all of our Disney favorites, giving guests the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to combine celebrationswith more than one character.

For example, in “Princess Fairytale Hall”, guests can celebrate birthdays or simply spend time with Cinderella and Snow White’s Princess Aurora under the same roof.

The expansion will nearly double the size of FantasyLand, and give guests the opportunity to interact with their favorite Disney characters like they never had before.

Among the new attractions are "Under the Sea: Journey of The Little Mermaid", "Be Our Guest Restaurant", "Belle’s Village", including "Gaston’s Tavern" and "Bonjour! Village Gifts", "Enchanted Tales with Belle", "Storybook Circus" and "Snow White’s ScaryAdventures".

The expanded FantasyLand will be completed in phases by 2013. Check out a detailed outline of Disney's plans to expand FantasyLand, which emphasizes the magic of Disney's already plentiful amenities.
