Knoebels Amusement Park & Resort, the family-owned Northumberland County amusement park, continues to rank among the world’s top parks, according to an industry publication. Knoebels ranked as the third-best park in the world in the annual Golden Ticket awards, issued Sunday by trade paper Amusement Today. It trailed only Cedar Point, in Sandusky, Ohio, and Pleasure Beach Blackpool in Blackpool, U.K. Knoebels also took first place for best food and placed in the top five for friendliest park staff, best wooden roller coaster, best Halloween event and best dark ride.
