Cedar Fair, L.P. a publicly traded partnership which owns and operates twelve amusement parks, five outdoor water parks, one indoor water park and six hotels, has, for the ninth straight year, earned the title of "Best Amusement Park In The World" for its flagship park, Cedar Point, Sandusky, Ohio, according to an international survey. In addition, Cedar Point received top honors for "Best Capacity", while Kings Island, Cincinnati, received the award for the "Best Kids' Area" and "Best Park Concert Venue." The survey is conducted annually by Amusement Today, the popular Arlington, TX-based publication that covers the international amusement park industry. The magazine surveys its panel of experts, asking them to rate "bests" in 23 categories, such as "amusement parks," "roller coasters," "water parks" and "live shows." The magazine presents the winners with its prestigious "Golden Ticket Awards."
