Six Flags announced today that Amusement Today, the nation's leading amusement industry publication, has awarded the company two coveted 2006 Golden Ticket Awards. Amusement Today's Golden Ticket Awards annually rank the "Best of the Best" in the leisure entertainment industry. Six Flags received top honors this year for the industry's Best Steel Coaster -- SUPERMAN Ride of Steel at Six Flags New England -- and the industry's Best Shows at Six Flags Fiesta Texas. Six Flags Fiesta Texas has received this honor for eight consecutive years. These coveted awards, often referred to as "The Oscars of the Amusement Industry," are voted on by a panel of experts and enthusiasts from across the country.
