August 28, 2006 A Naugatuck man faces felony charges for allegedly reporting to police that a bomb would explode Thursday at Quassy Amusement Park, police said.
Brian R. Collins, 21, of Naugatuck is accused of using a prepaid phone to call in the hoax to state police.
The caller said an ammonium nitrate bomb would detonate at the Middlebury amusement park in five minutes, police said.
