August 08, 2006 It must have looked like a peculiar amusement ride.
A fiberglass elephant — weighing between 400 and 500 pounds — lying on its side in a drained lake.
Call it Dumbo, um, Drano.
Actually, the elephant was a victim of the second act of vandalism in less than a month at the former LeSourdsville Lake/Americana amusement park, according to Monroe police.
