With its twisting, turning, scream-worthy attractions, Six Flags Great America in Gurnee, Illinois attracts thousands of visitors every season. Whether with a group from school or as a summer road trip, many West students will experience the thrills Great America has to offer. Though the park is already known as one of the Midwest’s greatest sources of entertainment, Public Relations Director Jim Taylor anticipates a change in what the park has to offer this summer. “It’s our 45th anniversary this year and we’re just so excited for what we want to bring to our guests,” he said. “This year instead of one major project, we have dozens of cool projects going on at once.”
