For some village officials in Melrose Park the idea of possibly losing a business that has brought joy to many people young and old is bittersweet. Kiddieland, an amusement park which has made the village a destination during the summer months, may have only a few seasons left. The park may close by 2010 due to a legal dispute between family members who own the park.
