Albany Business Review Original Article »May 11, 2006 The Great Escape and Splashwater Kingdom in Queensbury will open for the season May 13 with more than a dozen new costumed characters, new parking fees and the same line-up of more than 135 rides, shows and attractions as last year.
This season the amusement park, which has more than 1,200 full- and part-time employees, will have costumed characters portraying Batman, Robin, Wonder Woman, Road Runner, Wile E. Coyote, Porky Pig, Yosemite Sam and others from Looney Tunes and the DC Comics' Justice League Super Heroes line-up. Scooby-Doo will also be there. |
