SANTA CLAUS, Ind. - The Holiday World amusement park in southern Indiana is planning $6 million in additions, including monkey-themed water slides.

Holiday World & Splashin' Safari president Will Koch says the new Kimba Bay area will feature seven water slides, more than 125 water jets, and a 4,543-litre tipping water bucket.

The $1.7 million Kimba Bay area will be part of the park's expansion project for 2008. Details of other projects have not yet been announced.

Koch projects that this year more than one million people will attend the park in Santa Claus, about 56 kilometres east of Evansville.
